Q1: How do I obtain the Tibet Travel Permit?

A: We handle the entire application process for you! You simply need to provide a copy of your passport and Chinese visa at least 20–30 days in advance. Once issued, we will express-deliver the original permit to your hotel in China (e.g., Beijing, Chengdu, or Shanghai) before you board your flight or train to Lhasa.

Q2: Will I get altitude sickness at Everest Base Camp?

A: Our 8-day itinerary is specifically designed for gradual acclimatization, with 3 nights in Lhasa and 1 in Shigatse before reaching EBC. While mild symptoms like headaches or shortness of breath are common, our vehicles are equipped with emergency oxygen, and our guides are trained to monitor your health. We recommend staying hydrated and avoiding strenuous activity during the first few days.

Q3: What are the accommodation and food like at Everest Base Camp?

A: At EBC (5,200m), conditions are basic but authentic. You will stay in a traditional nomad tent or a simple guesthouse. These provide dorm-style beds with many blankets, though it can still be cold at night. For food, local tents serve simple Tibetan dishes like noodles and fried rice.
